Not too long ago, we posted an article about Tilt Brush, which is an app designed by Google for the HTC Vive. The app enables users to create art in full 3D allowing artists to step into their canvas. It uses the HTC Vive’s room scale VR functionality, meaning that artists are able to walk around the space they are painting in and observe their creation from all angles.

I had seen some great demo content of the app in action but this was the first time I had actually seen it used to create something relevant. Youtuber misterbunbun has used Tilt Brush to create a tribute painting of Prince, who tragically passed away last week. Misterbunbun has also very kindly provided the tilt file so that anyone with a HTC Vive can step inside his creation, almost like a mobile gallery. It really is a thing of beauty.
