We’ve got great news for Fallout 4 fans as the open world post apocalyptic title is going to be available in virtual reality from this week for Oculus Rift owners.
If your one of the lucky few that have actually managed to get your hands on an Oculus Rift then you need be aware of the amazing things that the team at Meant To Be Seen are doing. They have just announced a major update for their Vireio Perception driver that will be happening later this week. This driver enables you to play certain PC games in full VR even if they were never initially designed to be experienced through a head mounted display. This weeks major update will include support for the rift and the OSVR kit. The update also means the Fallout 4 is finally playable in virtual reality via your headset!
As the below video tells you, it’s not quite native but they’re pretty damn close. The most amazing thing about this is that the software is absolutely free and has been created by a team of volunteers. Who ever said nothing in life is free?
