Throughout the history of time artists have tried to push the boundaries of art, making it as interactive and immersive as possible. We’re sure many artists have dreamed of being able to live in a creation they have created, being surrounded by their own vision and creation. Well, in 2016, this has all been made possible by Virtual Reality and namely one application for the HTC Vive called Tilt Brush.

Tilt Brush allows artists to step into their canvas and paint in full 360. The app makes use of the HTC Vive’s room scale VR functionality, meaning that artists will be able to walk around the space they are painting in and observe their creation from all angles.

Users will hold a virtual paint pallet in one hand which enable you to choose between colours, tools and effects that can be used in your creation, whilst the other hand is essentially your brush. Whether your a novice or artistically inclined, we think this app will bring out the creative in everyone.

We can’t wait to see what kind of masterpieces can be created in this new and exciting digital space in the future!
